Students and faculty in the Taft Seminar—History, Ecology, and Creative Practice—will exhibit sculptures in the Stowe House landscape. Projects center themes of racist violence on both sides of the Mason-Dixon Line, recovering African American history through storytelling, the weight of the words in Uncle Tom’s Cabin, making the work of historic curation visible through land art, and the histories of empire and extraction behind invasive plants in the Stowe landscape.
